Peanut-butter granola bars

1/2 C old fashioned oats
1/2 C Craisins
1/2 C sliced almonds
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 C natural peanut-butter or almond butter
1/2 C light brown sugar
3 Tbsp veggie oil
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1 large egg white

Preheat oven to 300, line an 8x8 pan with parchment paper. In a large bowl, combine oats, almonds, and craisins. In a small saucepan, whisk together oil, brown sugar, peanut-butter, cinnamon, salt and 1 Tbsp water over low heat until sugar has dissloved, about 5 mins. Let cool slightly; whisk in egg white. Pour over oat mixture; stir until moistened. Spread evenly in bottom of pan; smooth top. Bake until top is firm about 30 mins. Let cool 10 mins. Lift out of pan using parchment paper as handles. Let cool completely, cut into bars with serrated knife.

**PS, no picture this time head over here if you would like to see one. One change I have made to this recipe was the baking time. I baked them for 65 mins so the top would get firm. These are much softer than a regular granola bar. Wonderful none the less!!**
